Shehu Sani, senator who represented Kaduna Central in the Red Chamber has said President Bola Tinubu is doing everything possible to give Christians in the country a sense of belonging.
The socio-political activist, however, maintained while Tinubu is making attempts to appeal to Christians, an emperor from Kaduna State is allegedly promoting religious division.
He added that the said Kaduna emperor wants Tinubu to govern the country on the basis of malice and vindictiveness.
Commenting via his verified Twitter handle, Sani warned president Tinubu not to allow the emperor to create unnecessary violence in Nigeria.
According to Sani: “The Government of Tinubu is trying to calm and appease the Christian population in the country while the retired Kaduna Emperor is still stocking the embers of religious bitterness, hate and strife with his inflammatory utterances.
“He wants the country to be run with malice and vindictiveness against a certain section and against a certain faith as he once did during his divisive and tragic tenure in Kaduna.
“It’s left for the President to allow him to trigger a crisis, tear or incinerate the country. Nigeria is still a fragile country, we must be careful.”
