Scores of Gambari youths led by Comrd Abdus’samad Attahiru, a grassroot mobiliser and supporter of Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq fondly know as YOLO, Thursday held a door-to-door campaign for the re-election of the state Governor and other candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the February 18 general elections at Gambari Ward 2.
The young APC loyalists alongside party lovers in the course of the door-to-door campaign visited the Imam of Pataki, Sheikh Ibrahim Nuhu Oloyin, Hausa community as well as youths in the ward to solicit support for the ruling party ahead of the upcoming general polls.
While expressing his appreciation to the party’s enthusiasts for the 100 percent victory recorded at the just concluded Presidential and National Assembly polls, Attahiru called on the people of the ward to support the second term ambition of Governor AbdulRahman for changing the political narrative and bringing crucial development to the state in less than four years.
He further extended his gratitude to Amb. Akanbi Ilyas Shola, Mr. Garuba Adebayo fondly known as B-Tech, Comr. Shola Sagacity, Hon. Bashirat Kolawole and other party’s supporters for their unflinching support for the current administration.
Also, Attahiru implored his constituents to vote for the APC candidate for the Ilorin East Constituency in the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hajia Fatimah Arinola Lawal in March 18 general elections, in order to continue to consolidate his late father’s legacy.
