Kwara APC set up post-election reconciliation committee

The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kwara has set up a seven-man committee to address the disagreement among some members of the ruling party in the state.

The APC spokesperson in the state, Alhaji Tajudeen Folaranmi Aro, maintained that, “part of the crisis has seen party members seeking redress in court, coupled with the incessant flow of suspension of members in many wards and local government of the state”.

Aro noted that the high-profile committee was constituted as the party could no longer look away while the some of its members are at loggerheads.

To chair the committee is Alhaji Alhassan Yahya Bagudu, the Secretary is Barrister Raphel Ashaolu, while Kure Yusuf AbdulGaniyu will serve as the committee spokesperson.

Other members include: Alh Sulaiman, Hajia Falilat Ronke Muhammed, Akinjide Ogunyemi and Alh Ore AbdulMumin.
