Kwara State Government revealed that the state civil servants who have not enrolled for the Kwara State Residents Registration Agency, KWSRRA, number will not receive salary or bonuses from November 2024.
The message was contained in a press signed by the Press Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, Babatunde Toyin Abdulrasheed.
The registration began several months ago.
Kwara State Residents Registration Agency (KWSRRA) is introduced to establish a database of residents of the state and allocate unique identities to everyone to ease future planning.
“In line with the administration’s commitment to accountability and transparency in resource administration, a directive had since been issued mandating all state employees, including those across the 16 local government areas, to complete their registration KWSRRA,” according to a statement by the Commissioner for Finance Dr. Hauwa Nuru.
The statement added that the integrity of the data would be useful for financial and administrative systems.
