Kwara Poly reduce tuition fee for non-indigenes

Sequel to the comprehensive deliberation between the Students’ Union representatives and the management team of Kwara State Polytechnic, Oke-Oyi, the state owned institution has agreed to reduce N15000 from the tuition fees of non-indigene students across different levels and programmes

The increments are highlighted below: ND 1 students, N92,000; HND 1 97,000 ND 1 Part Time N111,500; HND 1 N117,500.

The Students Union Government announced this development on Tuesday, November 8 after a productive meeting the with the Polytechnic principal staff Officers on Saturday.

The statement reads: “Following intensive hours of deliberation, the management has agreed to reduce the non-indigene fees by 15000 naira only, while that of the indigene remains as it is.

“We hereby commend the fatherly role of the management as led by our amiable rector Engr. Dr Abdul Jimoh Mohammed for his transparency during the negotiation. As usual, we are promising our unalloyed support for the polytechnic of our dreams.

“While urging our students to continue being good ambassadors of our blessed polytechnic, we hereby announced the RESUMPTION OF THE SCHOOL FEES PAYMENT.

“As enshrined in every institution, the management will set a time frame for the payments, and we are pleading that we all abide.

“Do not hesitate to contact the welfare office of the union in any case involving the payments and all other welfare issues.”
