Kwara State University’s don, Professor Abdul Rauf Ambali has been appointed by the National Security Council of the Prime Minister’s office of Malaysia as an expert to validate that country’s indicators of national security index.
The announcement was contained in a press release signed by the university’s spokesperson, Dr. Saeedat Aliyu.
His appointment followed the country’s resolution to conduct a National Security Index Study in 2022.

The letter read, “It is hoped that through this appointment, Prof. Dr. can help to produce more comprehensive research findings and develop more accurate National Security Index”, added that the study would be based on nine values/domains of national security.
Meanwhile, the Acting Vice Chancellor of the institution, Professor Shaykh Luqman Jimoh has felicitated Professor Abdul Rauf Ambali on the achievement.
Speaking further, Professor Jimoh said the appointment is an indication of KWASU global standing, advancing that the appointee who also doubles as the University’s Director of Academic Planning would be flying university’s flag on the international scene.
Professor Lukman, however, charged Professor Ambali to showcase his scholastic prowess and bring more fame to the University.
