A popular vendor in Ibadan, Adeshina Olayinka, fondly referred to as khadi is dead.
She was found dead in a wetland hotel in Akobo, Oyo state.
The City Gazette gathered the young lady told her friend that she had an appointment with someone in Wetland hotel in Akobo on wednesday night.
On thursday morning, when the man was about checking of the hotel room, the receptionist asked to wait until the wellbeing of his partner was confirmed. Khadi in her response confirmed all was well, directing the receptionist to allow the man check out.
She was said to have assured the receptionist she was just taking a nap and no cause for alarm, and she too will check out out soon.
Later, one of the receptionist who said she borrowed Olayinka a power bank went to the room for her power bank and knocked the door, but no response.
The hotel manager used the extra card to gain entrance into the hotel room and she was discovered dead.
