The Lagos State Command’s Rapid Response Squad (RRS), led by CSP Egbeyemi, following actionable intelligence, raided the apartment of one Tajudeen Olanrewaju Bakare in the Surulere area of the state.

The RRS operative recovered three pump action rifles, one Beretta pistol magazine, one expended 9mm ammunition, one expended and three live cartridges in the suspect’s – including a picture frame belonging to him.

The suspect, unfortunately, escaped arrest and was thereby declared wanted.

The sting operation necessitated by a sudden emergence of a video clip earlier this week, in which a man was wielding a pump action rifle and threatening public peace.

Any useful information leading to his arrest would be highly appreciated and treated with utmost confidentiality.
