Manchester United has reportedly decided that it would no longer offer Harry Maguire for sale.
Just last week, it was reported that the club has agreed to sell the England central defender to West Ham United after the Hammers had expressed willingness to meet the selling club’s £30 million asking price for the player.
The City Gazette gathered that Manchester United’s board raised a concern that West Ham offer came at a time it would be too difficult for United to find a perfect replacement for the defender.
It was also reported that Maguire’s demand for huge pay-off from Manchester United contributed to the stalemate.
Meanwhile, the club manager, Erik Ten Hag has challenged the British to remain at the Old Trafford and hustle iis way back into the starting team fight.
Maguire is the most criticised United’s player following his constant defensive blunders, which had caused the club some points and disqualification, especially the game against Sevilla in the Europa League semifinal last season.
