Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella is on the verge of becoming a Manchester United player.
As it stands, the Red Devils are keenly interested in securing the signature of the Spain international.
Cucurella put pen to paper for the Blues in a £62 million deal in 2022 from Brighton.
Since then, the Spaniard has been a difficult career at the North London club.
The former Brighton defender has dropped from the pecking order, with Chelsea Mauricio Pochettino, keeping him on the bench in competitive games.
The signing of Cucurella tops Manchester United’s priority list, following an injury to the club’s full-back, Luke Shaw.
With Shaw expected to be out of action for about two months, the Old Trafford outfit launched an informal bid for Cucurella on Saturday.
It was gathered that he is on the verge of a loan switch to the Old Trafford.
