Suspected armed robbers have reportedly killed an unspecified number of residents of Otukpo, Benue State.
It was learnt that the robbers attacked several banks in Otukpo at about 3 pm. on Friday, shooting indiscriminately.
A resident of Otukpo, Sunday Abah, who witnessed the incident told newsmen that the operation lasted for several hours without security intervention.
“Armed robbers have taken over everywhere in Otukpo. They are just shooting whoever they see.
