Renowned Nigerian singer, Deborah Oluwaseyi Joshua, professionally referred to as Seyi Shay after being accosted by a fan, made a revelation about her marriage plan.
In a viral video online, the superstar was interrogated by one of her enthusiasts about her wedding plan, saying, “In an interview with ‘Blank Digital, you talked about your white wedding coming soon; how far away is it?”
Responding to the question, seyi Shay maintained that the white wedding had already taken place, thereby claiming that she never nurses the plan of getting married but only wanted to have children.
The 37 year-old London born singer stressed, “My white wedding already happened. I’m a married woman, Okay, so, I’ve been cuffed. I think he will say he’s been cuffed. But, we already did that and it was lovely, beautiful. And I never really wanted to get married, really. My whole life, I just wanted to have a kid. But I feel like getting married to be something that you know, it just happens because you feel like it feels right. And it felt right.”
The popular musician gave birth to her first child last year. Before that that, in January 2022, she added in an interview that her hubby should be blamed for her success over insinuations from different quarters that she was pregnant.
Seyi Shay, however, has continued to maintain a tight lip over her rumoured pregnancy at the time, but she did not contend the fact that she was engaged as she flaunted her diamond engagement ring.
