A secret group known as the National Association of Air-lords, N.A.A has has debunked reports that popular afrobeats, Adeshina Afees Fashola, widely referred to as Naira Marley and Sam Larry, are members of the secret association.
The group made this clarification in a statement published by its media office on Friday.
The release came after Naira Marley and Sam Larry were accused of being involved in the death of the Aloba Promise Oladimeji, professionally known as Mohbad.
Recall that the fast-rising music star died on Tuesday, September 12, after brief pains.
NAA said, “Contrary to assumptions or claims, we wish to emphasise that SAM LARRY or NAIRA MARLEY are not members of (NAA) in any capacity. While we value diversity and inclusivity within our organisation, it is essential to ensure that accurate information is conveyed about who is part of our group and who is not.”
Since the death of the 27-year-old musician was announced on Tuesday, the internet has been awash without various insinuations regarding the circumstances of his demise, with some claiming the deceased hip-hop star died of depression arising from series of threat from the Marlian group.
Mohbad was a signee under the Marlian Record Label before he fell out with Naira Marley who is the leader of the group.
