Reknown Nigerian singer, Simisola Kosoko, professionally known as Simi, has revealed that her Degree certificate in Mass Communication is not a “waste.”
It would be recalled that female musician currently holds a Mass Communication degree from the prestigious Covenant University, but chose to stick with her musical career instead of working with her Degree certificate.
Simi, however, maintained that her degree “did not waste” despite not being employed by any media organisation or other corporate companies.
Happy and satisfied about how she passes information, educates and informes the society through her music and social media, Simi took to her Twitter handle to brag, “At least my Mass Comm degree did not waste.”
It is common in the entertainment industry, the manner Nigerian entertainers who have backgrounds Law, Medical Studies, Engineering and many more have proudly dropped their academic qualifications to pursue their passion in the entertainment industry.
