Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, is cofident about his political structure in Kwara State, boasting that his political structure in Kwara cannot be put in disarray because he and his followers have become one inseparable family over the years.
He made this statement during the traditional wedding of his granddaughter, Islamiyah Toyosi in his hometown, Oro on Friday, November 4.
The former spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress revealed he is always in contact with his political associates and supporters despite being away from home on national assignment.
Alhaji Lai Mohammed expressed optimism that despite their differences, his stronghold’s loyalty towards is unrivalled.
He, however, stated that he been working with his political allies for more two decades.
He maintained: “What this means fundamentally is that there is no difference politically between me and them and they still regard me as one of their leaders and I still regard them as my associates.
“My political structure cannot be torpedoed because of disagreement.
“That is the essence of political structure: when you are strong enough to weather the storm that will necessarily come up, especially when it is time to vie for political offices.”
