NFF technical committee favours foreign coach recruitment

The technical committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has favoured the recruitment of another foreign coach to replace Jose Peseiro as Super Eagles manager.

The committee has forwarded their recommendation to the executive committee of the NFF.

It has also identified the names of the recommended coaches to be recruited for the job to the executive committee.

The City Gazette gathered that last week that Domenec Torrent, a former assistant to Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, and former Cameroon head coach Antonio Conceicao are some of the expatriates eyeing the Super Eagles job

The recommendation was made on the proviso that the NFF can afford to pay any of the foreign coaches.

The adhoc committee also recommended the recruitment indigenous coach in the event of paucity of fund.
