A court in the United Kingdom has sentenced a 37-year-old Nigerian, Osakpolor Jimoh to three years and nine month imprisonment for passing sexual advances to the 13-year-old girl.
The judgement was passed at the Leeds Crown Court in the United Kingdom.
The ruling came after Jimoh pleaded guilty to five count charge levelled against him.
Unknown to him, the supposed teenager’s profile was that of undercover detectives, who specialise in exposing paedophiles.
He was also said to have sent the “teenager” explicit clips of himself and became “aggressive” when she refused to do the same.
The convict has planned to meet physically with the supposed teenager in Leeds.
Jimoh also reportedly booked a two-night stay in a hotel for himself and the “teenager.”
On October 24, 2022, he was apprehended by security personnel at the Leeds rail station while trying to meet with teenager ahead of her 14th birthday.
Condoms and lollipops were recovered from UKhis pockets during his arrest.
In viral clip showed where Jimoh was being interviewed security personnel at the train station before he was taken away.
In his ruling, Mark McKone, said: “You (Jimoh) became aggressive if you did not get your way. The communication continued for five and a half months, you booked a cheap hotel and were armed with condoms.”
