There was an uproar as a yet-to-be identified man lost his life while two others sustained severe injuries in a fatal autocrash that occurred at Edun Junction, Ilorin, Kwara State.
The unfortunate incident took place around 9:00am, Friday when a blue 18-seater bus belonging to an Islamic Society known as AMINNA had a head-on collision with a JINCHENG motorcycle conveying three people.
According to an eyewitness account, the motorcycle rider, in a haste to meet up with Eid prayer, had a collision with the bus that was also heading for Eid prayer ground after he made a miscalculated attempt to avoid another vehicle coming from a different direction.
While two of the victims survived, one of them died shortly after the accident and was buried at the Muslim Cemetery at Osere in Ilorin.
