Sola Arabambi, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party vying for Irewole/Isokan/Ayedaade Federal Constituency, in Osun state in the forthcoming 2023 general election, has been confirmed dead.
Arabambi’s death is confirmed by one of his aides didn’t want his name published, stressing that the politician died on Saturday, December 3 after a short stint of sickness.
In a press statement issued by his Media Office, the ex-governorship aspirant on the platform of the PDP in Osun State, Prince Dotun Babayemi, lamented Arabambi’s demise was hurtful, describing him as a man who surrendered himself to human service .
Babayemi proceeded: “Of a truth, the news of Sola’s death came to me as a rude shock. He was a man who was service-driven. He touched many lives within his reach and as such, his contributions can not be forgotten.”
Babayemi in his commiseration message to the family, party and the people of the federal constituency over the irredeemable loss, Babayemi prayed for the repose of the late politician and the mental strength to overcome the loss.
