The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, will be speaking at the Chatham House, to discuss his plans ahead of the 2023 general election following invitation from the independent policy institute in the United Kingdom, (UK).
The former Anambra State Governor is the second presidential candidate to receive invite from world-leading organisation to address the global audience.
In a tweet on Thursday, Chatham House Africa announced the development, saying, “Nigeria’s 2023 Elections: In conversation with @PeterObi.
“The second of our events examining #Nigeria’s 2023 elections and political developments will take place on January 16, 2023.”

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, was at Chatham House in London, Monday, December 5 where he dissected some of his programmes and policies for major sectors like defence, economy, education, and technology.
Tinubu’s performance at the forum has since sparked series of controversies and adverse reactions as the former Lagos State governor received both encomium and criticism from supporters and opposition arrowheads respectively.
