The Zonal Commander of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Minna, Niger State, identified as Femi is being interrogated by the State Police Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, over allegation of homicide.
He was fingered in the death of one Mrs Christiana Williams in his apartment on Saturday afternoon located along Bay clinic road, Minna opposite old B.Y stores.
It was reported that the late Christian visited the house of the NDLEA zonal commander with impression to sell underwears but was involved in sexual intercourse and unfortunately collapsed afterwards.
It was gathered that the suspect rushed the deceased to Bay Clinic along Bay Clinic road Minna as she was confirmed dead upon arrival.
The hospital, however, invited the Police at Tudun-Wada Police Station that eventually took NDLEA zonal commander for interrogation.
Femi explained that the married woman came to his house to deliver underwears to him, and she suddenly became asthmatic, so he gotinhaler for her.
On the contrary the husband, Williams said his asthmatic wife use prescribed medication whenever she had the crisis.
A reliable source within the medical facility disclosed that, “the suspect brought the dead woman naked but went back home and returned with her pants, brassiere, and other clothing materials and wore them on her”.
