Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, professionally referred to as Portable, has been remanded in Oke-kura prison in Ilorin, Kwara State, after failing to fulfil his bail conditions imposed by an upper area court.

The ‘Zazoo-zeh’ crooner’s arraignment in court on Monday came after he was charged for defaming veteran Fuji musician Akorede Saheed, popularly known as Saheed Osupa.

The judge in his ruling directed portable to produce two sureties with valid Certificates of Occupancy for landed properties, the President of the Performing Musicians Employers Association of Nigeria (PMAN), and a bail sum of one million naira.

Unfortunately, the singer has been transferred to the Oke-Kura correctional facility, where he would remain until he is able to fulfil the bail conditions.
