Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike said he remains unperturbed in the face torrential verbal attacks on him as regards his choice of presidential candidate for the 2023 election.
He noted that he decided on preferred presidential candidate and there was no going and he was never bothered.
Wike made this disclosure, Wednesday at Egbeda Community during the kick-off of the construction of Akpabu-Egbeda-Omoku Link Road in Emohua Local Government Area of the state.
Tye former Minister of Education maintained that lightweight politicians without any political value who are among those condemning his decision, thereby noting that they would slip into political oblivion when the reality of their political loss beckons on them eventually.
Wike said: “If anybody likes, say what you want to say that I am working for so and so person, it’s their business.
“Say that I am not working for so and so person, it’s their business.
“That will not make me change my mind about where we are heading to. Do you understand me?
“So, if they like, they can make speculations. After all, that is why the word, speculation is there.
