Pundit speaks on Ronaldo’s leaving Al Nassr

Popular football analyst Ben Jacobs has disclosed that Cristiano Ronaldo will remain with Al Nassr until the end of his contract in the summer of 2025.

However, he noted that Saudi fans taunting the former Real Madrid forward with Lionel Messi’s name might be a source of worry for the player.

The attacker might not feature Al Nassr in a few matches after receiving a red card during Al Nassr’s 2-1 defeat against Al Hilal in the Saudi Super Cup semi-final.

“I think he’ll do another season. I think Ronaldo still feels that he’s the one capitalising this. So there’s a personal aspect that feeds into maybe his ego that he started all of this.

“And every time he does anything wrong, opposition fans are chanting the name ‘Leo Messi’.
