President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, from his first day in office as promised during the electioneering campaign has hit the ground running with series of appointment and activities.

Though, prior to May 29 the president has handpicked Lt. Col. Nurudeen Alowonle Yusuf, Aide- De-Camp (ADC), and ACP Usman Shugaba, Chief Personal Security Officer.

On the first day of his inauguration as president of the Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu announced the removal of fuel subsidy.

on the same May 29, he also announced Ambassador Victor Kunle Adeleke as State Chief of Protocol (SCOP), Dada Olusegun, Special Adviser Digital Media.

Later, Dele Alake was appointed presidential spokesperson.

Tinubu appointed Nosa Asemota as his official photographer and Adelani Opeyemi as the official photographer of Vice President Kashim Shettima

On the 2nd of June, 2023, the president appointed Hon. Olufemi Hakeem Gbajabiamila as Chief of Staff (COS) while Former Deputy Governor of Jigawa State, Senator Ibrahim Hassan Hadeija was also appointed Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS), Vice President Office.

Senator George Akume was announced as Secretary to the Government of the Federation on the same day as Gbajabiamila.

President Tinubu signed the Student Loan and Data Protection Bills into laws on the 12th and 14th of June, 2023 respectively.

He directed the NNPCL to end Oil swap deal with foreign refiners on the 5th of June 2023.

He ordered the arrest of the suspended and ordered the arrest of the Governor Nigerian Central Bank, Godwin Emefiele on June 9, 2023.

He also sacked the Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on June 14, 2023.

On the 17th of June he suspended the IPPIS
Director in charge of salary payment.

On June 19, 2023, he sacked all the Service Chiefs and appointed new ones. Tinubu also announced Hadiza Bala Usman Special Adviser, Policy Coordination; Hannatu Musa Musawa Special Adviser, Culture and Entertainment Economy; Sen. Abdullahi Abubakar Gumel Senior Special Assistant , National Assembly Matters (Senate); Hon. (Barr) Olarewaju Kunle Ibrahim Senior Special Assistant, National Assembly Matters (House of Representatives) and Adeniyi Bashir Adewale as the Ag. Comptroller General of Customs.

On Tuesday, June 20, President Tinubu embarked on first official travel abroad to attend World Economy Summit in Paris France.
