Former lawmaker, representing Kwara South senatorial district in the Red Chamber, Senator Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim, is dead.
The financial expert was said to have died from a protracted illness.
Born on December 12, 1966, Senator Ibrahim served as a distinguished senator represented Kwara South Senatorial District between 2015 and 2019.
He was also a member of the Kwara State House of Assembly For Oke-Ogun Constituency before he was elected into the Nigerian Green Chamber to represent Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency.
He was chairman, Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance, and other Financial Institutions, demonstrating his expertise and commitment to financial matters.
