Former House of Representatives aspirant under the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, and Chairman, Salman Shagaya Foundation, Alhaji Sheriff Shagaya announced has that 300 boreholes worth N1billion (N1,000,000,000) would be built in Asa and Ilorin West Federal constituency under the socio-infrastructural projects.
Shagaya made this announcement during the campaign rally of the All Progressives Congress Candidate for Asa/Ilorin West House of Representatives, Muktar Tolani Shagaya, in Warah/Osin/Egbejila Ward of Ilorin West Local Governments, Monday, February 13th, 2023.
The philanthropist is the elder brother of Muktar Tolani Shagaya, current APC House of Representatives candidate.
The young Shagaya said while addressing electorate during the campaign, “I am most grateful to the Almighty that I come from a family where philanthropy, human capacity development, and social impact are values that have been instilled in us from a very young age. This opportunity given to me is not just for me but for all of us – and especially for the youth.
