Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has given the greenlight for the installation of new transformers in 11 communities of the state.
This, according to the state government is in line with its resolve to facilitate stable power supply in the state.
The State’s Commissioner for Energy, Hon. AbdulWahab Femi Agbaje Whyte broke the news during an interaction with journalists in Ilorin, the capital city of the state.
He listed the communities to include Araromi Community (Moro LG); Koko Araromi (Ifelodun); Pan African College Offa (Offa); Offa Poly (Offa); Itesiwaju in Akerebiata (Ilorin East); Babanloma (Ifelodun); and Niger/ Taiwo community (Ilorin South).
Ambassador Estate in Zango (Ilorin South); Abdulsalam Alao in Gaa- Akanbi (Ilorin South); Edidi Town (Isin); Isokanlagba Sapati Ile in Asa Local Government respectively also benefited from the project.
Agbaje maintained Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has yet again fulfilled his campaign promise to make every part of the state feel the presence and essence of good governance, further noting that the welfare of the kwarans tops the list of the current administration’s priorities.
The offa born politician, however, stressed that uninterrupted power supply is essential to human existence and cannot be overemphasised.
He, thereby, assured other communities facing electricity challenges of the government’s prompt intervention.
