Isese advocate, Yeye Omolara Ajesikemi, has reacted to the arrest of one Isese activist, Abdulazeez Tani Olohun.
Recall that Tani Olohun was arrested by the police on Wednesday, August 16 for insulting prominent Islamic scholars in Ilorin.
She stated that the court should deliver the right judgement without any bias.
“I have no judgment to give on that than wait for the court of law to give a fair and free non-bias judgment
Speaking on the burning of pages of the holy Quran, the priestess revealed that there are instances where Islamic clerics disrespected Isese practitioners and burnt masquerade regalia.
Yeye Omolara, however, implored the court to be fair and lenient in its judgement.
“I am not saying Talolorun has done well by burning the Qur’an or insulting the Emir, but I am saying both parties are guilty and hereby plead with the judge to please judge with fairness and mercy.”
