Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has ordered that the sum of One hundred and twenty million naira (NGN120,000,000.00) in bail- out funds be disbursed to four state-owned high institutions – three Colleges of Education and the College of Arabic and Islamic Legal Studies in the State.
Dr Alabi Afees Abolore, the state Commissioner for Tertiary Education said this, Thursday 16th February, 2023 during interaction pressmen in Ilorin.
Abolore said the funds would facilitate the effective administration of the institutions under.
He noted, “We would all recall that similar several interventions of this nature have been witnessed by our Tertiary Institutions since inception of the current administration led by His Excellency, Mallam Abdurahman Abdulrazaq.”
He further charged authority of the institutions to use the funds achieve the purposes for which it was earmarked.
Abolore, however, maintained that the AbdulRahman-led Administration is ready to better the standard of the institutions, thereby admonishing them to impart quality education and trainings to the students.
He also implored top hierarchy of all the Tertiary Institutions to continue to support the policies of the current Administration.
