Arsenal new signing, Jurrien Timber, has explained why he signe for the Premier League giants from Ajax.
The North London club officially unveiled Timber as new signing on Friday, following his transfer from Ajax on a long-term deal.
In an interview with Arsenal’s official website, Timber said he joined the club due to the team’s style of play and he has always been a fan of the club.
“I’ve always been a fan of Arsenal. It was because of my brothers. They were always fans and I just loved seeing the team play,” Timber said.
“They had big players, the way they played, the style. I just love the club. I had this from a young age but my brothers kind of put that in me.”
Jurrien Timber can operate as either right back or centre back.
