President Bola Tinubu, alongside six Governors, will, on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, travel to the Republic of Benin.
According to a release by Dele Alake Special Adviser, Special Duties, Communications & Strategy on Monday, July 31st, the president, together with his entourage, will attend the 63rd independence anniversary of the Republic of Benin.
Tinubu, will be the Special Guest of President Patrice Talon at the ceremony.
President Tinubu had first engagement with Talon at the 63rd Ordinary session of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of ECOWAS held in Guinea-Bissau, before the leaders later met at the State House, Abuja along with leaders of three other West African nations.
Tinubu, will, on the invitation of president Talon be attending the independent anniversary in company of six governors and his personal aides.
The six governors that would be accompanying the president to the occasion are Ogun, Dapo Abiodun; Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Oyo, Seyi Makinde; Kwara, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq; Kebbi, Nasir Idris, and
Niger, Mohammed Umar Bago.
