Tinubu charges cabinet members on economic revival

President Bola Tinubu, on Monday, called on his ministers to work round the clock in order to ensure the nation’s economy bounces back within the shortest possible time

He made this call during the inaugural Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting he presided over at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

During the meeting, Tinubu’s cabinet deliberated on the “Roadmap for the Economy” presented by the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister for the economy, Wale Edun.

Edun, later expressed concern with current economic situation of the country, saying it is not where it ought to be.

He furthered that FEC looked into eight critical areas and three years time frame to achieve set targets.

Edun confirmed that President Tinubu also directed the ministers to formulate policies and programmes to improve the economy.
