Nigeria President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has mourned the death of former Governor of Ondo State, Akeredolu Rotimi.
The Senior Advocate of Nigeria passed away in the early hours of Wednesday, December 27, 202. The erstwhile attorney-general of Ondo State was away in Germany for several months where he was receiving treatment for a terminal ailment diagnosed as Leukaemia before his eventual demise.
The president, in a condolence message, he personally signed, said: “a man who moved our nation towards equity, fairness and justice. In his strident advocacy against every form of injustice our country through the instrumentality of the law.”
Tinubu further described the deceased as a brother and soulmate.
