Tinubu is a graduate of Chicago State University – Reno Omokri

Reno Omokri, a former media aide to ex-president of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan Tuesday, November 22 made a clarification on the certificate saga of the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.

Omokri noted that Tinubu attended the Chicago State University, contrary to insinuations on social media.

Speaking on Arise TV, Omokri said the university availed him Tinubu’s academic records from the school.

According to Omokri: “Bola Tinubu attended Chicago state university, if we are to criticize him, it should not be based on lies but fact, I went to the school’s record office physically. I’m not somebody who relies on the internet to make claims.

“The Chicago State University school released a statement and published in by various Nigerian media that Tinubu attended the university.”

The APC presidential candidate has been subject of intensive scrutiny regarding his academic records and the institutions he attended.

Tinubu’s campaign team, had however, dismissed claims criticizing his academic records as falsehood.
