A member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Abdulsobur Olayiwola fondly referred to Omititi among his political enthusiasts is dead.

The late lawmaker represented the Mushin II state constituency.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain reportedly slumped and died at the Rawang Pam Township Stadium in Jos at the Tinubu/Shettima 2023 presidential campaign flags off.

Omititi was the Chairman of the House Committee on Local Government Services.

A close ally of the late politician, whose name is withheld, revealed that he was still with Olawale at the weekend.

“We met at the residence of Senator Ganiyu Olanrewaju Solomon (GOS) on Sunday and exchanged pleasantries. He was looking very healthy.”

“Without preempting the circumstance, this could be high blood pressure. Whatever could have led to his death, this is so shocking and sad.”

The late lawmaker was installed as the Sariki Adeen of Mushin Central Mosque in 2017.
