Two kidnappers killed as police rescue 10 victims in Bauchi

The Bauchi State Police Command on Tuesday neutralised two suspected kidnappers and set 10 victims free during an operation carried out in Ningi Local Government Area.

Commissioner of Police Auwal Musa Muhammad made this known while fielding questions from members of the press, at the police headquarters along Yandoka Road on Tuesday.

The CP stressed that the victims were rescued following collaboration with hunters.

“In one of the successful operations carried out between July 17 and 20, the operatives rescued 10 victims of kidnapping unhurt and reunited them with their families.

“Similarly, the operatives attacked the hoodlums and neutralised two of the armed kidnappers and arrested one other, while the remaining terrorists were subdued during a gun duel with our team,” he stated.
