Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, on Tuesday noted that he and other disgruntled governors would announce their preferred presidential candidate for the forthcoming 2023 general elections soon.
Wike made this disclosure at the local government area campaign flag-off for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) held at St. Martin’s Anglican Church, Omagwa town.
He, therefore, expressed elation that security agents stand no chance of intimidating or manipulating the forthcoming general elections.
Wike alongside four other aggrieved governors in the PDP – Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Samuel Ortom (Benue), Emeka Ugwuanyi (Enugu), and Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia) – had late last year promised to announce their preferred presidential candidate this month
