Enyimba striker Izuogu Chibueze has expressed the club’s readiness for Sunday’s clash against Morocco’s Wydad Athletic Club.
The forward told the Aba based club’s fans on Friday.
George Finidi’s side will be digging it out against the Red Devils in their first game in the competition at the Enyimba Stadium on Sunday.
“We promise our fans we are going to do our best at the inaugural edition of the African Football League,” Chibueze told Enyimba’s media.
“The mentality in the team’s camp is very high, the confidence is very high, and everyone is preparing to get a win on Sunday.”
