Nigerian-British actor John Boyega has identified Afrobeats superstar Wizkid as his favourite musician.
John Boyega made this revelation while appearing on the show “Rep Your Flag” on Netflix.
While expressing his admiration for Wizkid, the actor said he loves Davido and Burna Boy as well.
John Boyega’s predilection for Wizkid’s songs is exceptional as he added Wizkid’s 2017 single ‘Daddy Yo’ to the movie’s soundtrack.
As the interview continued, Boyega mentioned Nigerian Jollof Rice as his favourite dish, and his favourite places to visit in Nigeria are Abeokuta where his family lives, Lagos where he enjoys “Detty December”, and Abuja for its calmness.
The actor has featured in a lot of movies in the Nollywood, one of which was “Half of a Yellow Sun.”
