The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, has charged Nigerians to continue to believe in the betterment of the country as the 2023 general elections approach.
The advice was contained in his 2022 Christmas message made available to the press on Saturday.
He furthered that the festive period reawakens hope in the world, while urging Nigerians to hope for a better and more prosperous nation.
He reiterated that Christmas is a season of love and that the celebration of the birth of Christ should be a constant reminder of how God gave His only begotten son for his servants to live.

He said, “We, as humans should therefore, endeavour to make sacrifice, even when it is painful, for the good of others and for our society.”
He, however, exhorted Nigerians to demonstrate the virtues preached by the Christianity, even after the festivities.
According to the former Anambra State governor, Christmas celebration is characterized by fraternal love and reaching out to the indigents fellows.
He also encouraged Nigerians to continue to assist one another.
Obi admonished Nigerians to consider year 2023 as an epoch-making year in the history of the country as the nation’s fortunes will be turned around by competent leaders.
He, thereby, sent festive greetings to Nigerians.
