Ondo partners MEMSA on stable electricity

Nigeria’s Electricity Management Services Agency, NEMSA, has partnered the Ondo State Government on plans to ensure the protection of electrical installations and equipment.

This agreement followed moves by the Ondo State government to ensure the security of lives and property within the state.

The partnership was announced after a virtual meeting between NEMSA officials and Ondo State representatives. NEMSA’s Managing Director, Aliyu Tahir, disclosed the importance of the cooperation, claiming it is necessary for standardizing electrical installations.

Ondo State’s representative, Tunji Light, expressed Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s gratitude and commitment to working with NEMSA.

The two parties expressed readiness to form a joint team and eventually formalise the collaboration with a memorandum of understanding.

This partnership is aimed at improving electricity management in Ondo State, providing uninterrupted power supply for residents.
